How busy moms can stay fit through 4 tricks.

mom and daughter

If you’re a busy mom, you’re probably running around not knowing what to finish first. You work, you cook, and you take care of your family; so you feel like exercising is additional hard work to your daily schedule and you end up forgetting to take care of YOU! Here are simple tips you can follow to stay fit:

1-    Love it before you do it.

You should pick your favorite activity to do to make your exercise routine a stress-free zone. If you love to dance, then put on some music and move freely. If you love fresh air, go for a brisk walk . Just make sure you are loving your exercise time.

2-    Sneak it in.

When you love what you do, you dedicate time to it but even if you can’t do that, you can stay fit by working exercise into your usual routine. Move around a lot and don’t be lazy. Get up and turn on the light; don’t ask someone else to get your bag or a glass of water; and don’t depend on your TV remote control. Take the stairs instead of the elevator!

3-    Bring your kids along.

Sometimes it is too hard to find someone to watch the kids and you think this is your pass card but if you are committed to staying fit, you’ll find a way to bring your kids along. You can take them to the club or the public garden with you to enjoy a refreshing walk and you can even get them to respect exercise at an early age.

4-    Make up an excuse.

Make up a reason for walking. Park your car a bit farther away from your destination so that you have to walk. Take a walk to your closest supermarket instead of phoning for a delivery order. Walk like you have a purpose. Even if you’re just walking down the corridor, walk briskly, like you have an urgent matter to attend to, and walk tall. Guess what: you’re exercising!

Exercise is essential for you. It protects you from weight problems and illness but most importantly it improves your emotional healthy by fighting stress and releasing pain-suppressing endorphins that create a sense of calmness and well-being. So, exercise, if not for you, then for your family. You’ll be much healthier, happier, more efficient, and fun to be around.
