Ingredients

    4 eggs
    2 tbsp butter
    1 onion, chopped
    2 tomatoes, chopped

    1 Maggie Vegetable tablet, crushed

Instructions

    1. Beat the eggs with Maggi vegetable tablet. Leave aside.
    2. In a pan over medium heat, sauté the onion in butter until tender and turns yellow in color.
    3. Add the chopped tomatoes to the onions, stirring for a few minutes.
    4. Add the eggs, stirring, and leave over low heat for 5 minutes or until cooked. Season to taste and serve the shakshouka hot.

Cooking tips

    You can add sliced green pepper and spices as desired.
